So I noticed that last week 40mP released his 2010 album “Life Size Note” on Itunes via KarenT. All the links for purchasing the album via iTunes or Amazon, as well as the tracklist and previews can be found on the album’s KarenT page. While the album is listed at 1800 yen it is actually priced at $11.64 on iTunes making it a great deal. I have owned the hardcopy of this album for awhile now, but this is a great opportunity for 40mP fans to support him by getting a HQ copy of his album at a very affordable price.
While the album hardly needs anymore advertising, I decided to share what is probably one of the lesser known tracks on the album, “Usotsuki Maker”. (Usotsuki means “liar” in Japanese). While the lyrics are perhaps a bit abstract I look at it as a cry for help by a girl/person who is reaching out looking for someone in the only way they know how while in a troubled state. I absolutely love Miku’s singing style as well as the great jazz/swing feel the whole song has. Check it out below:
In addition to this great song, the album includes many great 40mP classics, including: Jenga, Step to You, Kimiboshi, Sing My Love (my favorite song of his, DAT PIANO), and Scrap & Build.
